Each school within Forward As One CE Multi Academy Trust has its own Local Governing Advisory Board (LAB). Every LAB follows a set constitution that outlines the types of members and the number of representatives in each category.
At Middleton Parish CE School, the Local Governing Advisory Board plays a vital role in holding school leaders to account for performance, progress, and attainment. Our LAB includes representation from staff, parents, the church, and the wider community, ensuring a broad and balanced perspective.
Operating under delegated powers from the Trust Board, each LAB has its own Chairperson, elected by fellow members of the Local Advisory Board.
The primary responsibilities of our Local Advisory Board are to drive forward pupil attainment across the school, and to oversee safeguarding duties, ensuring that our children learn and thrive in a safe, supportive environment.
