Breakfast and After School Club


We would like to welcome you to our Breakfast and After School Club page.



Our aim at Middleton Parish Breakfast and After School Club is to provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all our children to have fun, play and learn. We have six members of qualified, experienced staff working before and after school. For more information on the Breakfast and After School Club please refer to the links below.

   Meet The Staff

Hello my name is Mrs Carroll.  I am the Breakfast and After School Club Manager and  also a teaching assistant.

I have worked at Middleton Parish School since 2012. When I am not in school I love spending time with my family and going on days out.



Hello my name is Mrs Houghton I am a Teaching Assistant.

I am responsible for supporting SEN children on a one to one basis.  I am currently Acting Deputy Manager in the Breakfast and After School club.

Hello my name is Mrs Hall.

I have worked at the school since 2003 when Breakfast club first started. At home I like to do word puzzles, & baking and spending time in the garden.


 Hello my name is Mrs Flanagan I have worked at Middleton Parish school for 7 years. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and pets.

  I also enjoy being outside at the farm with my horse.               


Hello my name is Mrs Ogundare. I work in the After School Club. In my spare time I attend university where I am studying sociology.  

Hello my name is Miss Walsh. I have worked at Middleton Parish Church school for 3 years. In my spare time I love reading, walking and I enjoy watching cricket and football.

 Breakfast Club   


 Breakfast Club opening hours are from 7.45am onwards

 We offer the children a variety of cereals, toast, bagels, crumpets,  fruit and yogurts. Fruit juice, milk and water are also available.

 Breakfast  is served from 7.45 - 8.30  


After School Club

After School Club opening hours are 3.20pm – 5.30pm.

We offer a variety of homemade, healthy snacks including tuna pasta, spaghetti, and sandwiches with assorted fillings. All of our snacks are served with fresh fruit, milk or water.    


Golden Grin

At our Breakfast and After School Club we are committed to healthy eating. All our snacks are homemade and adhere to the guidelines set out by “Golden Grin” which is an award presented to Before and After School Clubs which fulfil the guidelines for providing healthy snacks. We are very proud at Middleton Parish that we have gained the Golden Grin Award for the sixth year running. We have four different menus which change weekly and the children are offered a wide variety of snacks. You can view our menus by clicking on the links at the bottom of this page.  



We offer a wide range of activities which are suitable for Reception children through to Year 6. Within our Breakfast and After School Clubroom we have areas set up for both independent and adult led play. Planning is changed weekly and the planned activities include:-

  • Dance and drama

  • Cooking and baking

  • Nintendo Wii

  • Cosy area, books

  • DVD's

  • Role Play area

  • Table Top Football

                                              These activities are available for all children to freely choose.



The fees for each session are:-

                                                     Breakfast Club           £4.30                                                                   

                                                     After School Club        £7.50


Fees are payable in advance by cash or cheque.

Please note that a late fee of £5.00 will be charged every 15 minutes for children who are collected after 5.30 pm

If you wish your child to be included in any of the above clubs please speak to a member of staff in the office on 0161 643 0753 or

If places are not available for the dates/days you require, your child’s name will be added to our waiting list and you will be contacted as soon as a place becomes available.
